My only questions: where do I find the chalk he is using? It writes large and you can see it from more than two feet away from the board.

One of my professors writes code like this:

if( !card.init(SPI_HALF_SPEED) ) error( "card.init failed" );

The above code is not easy to read at all.

EDIT: card.init is a function call.

Mr. Red Shirt Guy, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

So this was why a Thevenin equivalent circuit was needed... by thegr81isbakin science

1) If you hate Circuit Theory you should not be an electrical engineer. I use Thevenin and Norton every time I need to analyze a circuit (I am a senior nearing graduation).

2) Currently I am build a differential amplifier using this circuit. To find the gain, power through the BJT's, etc, I am using a Thevenin model.

Once you grasp the shear power that Thevenin and Norton equivalents give, you can solve any circuit that is given to you.

The BJT's have a small signal Thevenin model that is pretty accurate for most situations. You replace the BJT symbol with the model and start combining the different circuit elements until you have the simplest circuit. Note for transistors (or any active device really), you have to do this twice; once for DC conditions and once for AC, small-signal conditions.
