I would like to point out that there is a side of retribution that indicates a form of reward.

I was using the word in the sense that you come off with a tone that is moderately condescending, and often times this has come from a person looking for some sort of validation. Validation meaning, a gift or reward for the ideas that you are expressing.

If you cannot see the limitations in your own communication >standards, you should not point out plausible "faulty" characteristics >that appear in statements that are made by others.

This is a take on the saying in Geass "Only those willing to be shot can themselves shoot others."

Meaning. You have expressed that you think that I am not capable of understanding the ideas that you are trying to represent. And have stated that I should express my ideas in a way that conform to your style of thinking. If you yourself are not willing to be "shot" and influenced by the way that I represent my ideas, then I would hope that you would not fire bullets at me with caps, and degrading terms.

Calling someone stupid, or calling their ideas stupid does not seem to be in line with what your intentions are.

Perhaps I may benefit from drawing on a more definitive expression, rather than a contextual one when posting online. Also, your communication efforts may be more fruitful if you review the context of your posts.

A word can be sharp for some, and dull for others.

My post is lacking in a definitive form... But I come from an ideology that looks to open someone and pull their ideas out with as little influence as possible. With the other side being your more direct informative approach. Which seems to draw from providing a depth of knowledge pooling from a more solid internal representation, which would offer a better platform for people to provide their input as well.

I suppose I was too selfish in my post, and should believe in the value of my opinions.

We are all in this together, and I appreciate your input.

Admitting that is a very important step. Many people take pleasure in ways that are far different than others.

Some people even exchange the idea of pain as pleasure. And even exchange the idea of pleasure for pain.

This sort of conditioning typically takes place over a long period of time.

Now should this type of behavior be reversed? The idea of falling into what the social norm accepts is not always the most ideal choice for many people in a selfish, depressed, half-heartedly narcissistic defeatist mindset.

If these are the actions that most please you in life, then by all means, follow what you feel. Though I would ask that you define everything as far as it can go.

Do not sacrifice yourself to others, but be prepared to accept the reaction of the world.

Do not change who you are to please others.

But if the world is not giving you what pleases you.

Above all. Seek knowledge with your talents.

Then define the other half of your heart, and start over haha.

What I don't like is the misleading context.

Yes it was a GOP debate, and yes Obama had some positive points about the silence of the candidates...

BUT ~ he wasn't actually yelling at the candidates. He was addressing an equal rights group at an equal rights seminar.

Trying to appeal to a specific group of people and making republicans look bad for not standing up for individuals with different life choices is simply intelligent campaigning.

I am sure that he would have made similar points if he were at the GOP debate. But that is a different situation altogether.
