You can spend literally YEARS trying to smooth out a coaster and rid it of pumping and jerking. Honestly I would recommend you wait for NL2 at this point because designing coasters will be much much easier.

Actually, they tear down and build up and inspect those carnival rides frequently, so it's possible for them to be even safer than fixed amusement park rides in some cases. They still look cruddy though.

As someone who built a basic no frills guitar tuner, there is absolutely dsp involved. Guitar signals are super low amplitude and super noisy (except for harmonics which have a much cleaner sine wave) so its probably doing many Fourier transforms to find out the fundamental frequencies present. Its actually pretty cool.

I think you're just getting used to adulthood. I'm also 24 and there are subtle little signs that make me feel like that. Like the fact that it always seems like "no mail = good mail" because all I receive are bills, notices, bad news, etc. But I don't think it has to do much with how I was raised (I wasn't made to feel unique/special/whatever), it's just something that happens. Yes, everyone gets jaded and cynical to some extent.

The Galaxy S (Fascinate) is right up your alley. You can usually find them for under 100 and it's got a great camera. I will say that mine has had some mild screen burn-in over the years so that may be something to ask about before you buy (or see it in person). Put a white screen on (with a flashlight app or something) and look for screen burn in.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was afraid of. So if the refund goes through and is deposited in my account it could potentially be taken out of my account again if eBay doesn't have a delivery confirmation notice? Is there any way I can inform ebay that the seller requested that I keep the item? I have messages through the ebay system of the seller telling me I should keep the item. I'm not sure where I would even go to inform ebay of that.

Yes, all messages were sent through the ebay message system, which thankfully I was smart enough to do. The refund is in the "pending" status and I'm not sure if the refund is determined by whether or not the item is returned.

I checked Paypal and it says the return is pending and will be paid on May 22. On eBay it says I need to ship the item back and the refund will go through when the item has been delivered. Does that mean if I don't ship the item back that the seller's refund won't go through? The only thing that still has me worried is the money is not actually in my paypal account yet.
