I understand it is the color, but color doesn't drive color combinations alone. I would usually agree with you, but once I saw it done properly with a higher quality fabric and a classic shoe, the color combination worked. The quality of cut (pattern used) and quality of the fabric play a big part in how color can be determined. Let's not forget how an amazing shoe can change an entire outfit.

It depends on the cut of the Khakis and the style of the shoes. A khaki pant with better quality fabric (not found at gap or H&M) with a slim cut paired with a derby or casual wingtip (preferably from a UK or Italian brand) then the look actually works.

The Republicans blocked a simple amendment to their Keystone XL bill that required that most of the oil from the pipeline had to stay in the U.S.A. Interesting, no? I don't know more about why they blocked it so I'm presuming.

But you have to admit my friend that our police force has been turned into a heavily armed swat team. Too many times a U.S. policeman will pull a gun or a taser, the new conflict resolution tool of choice, instead of using their training to perform their jobs. I would like for you to address this reality. What is causing the complete disrespect (sometimes disdain) that the nation's police force feels towards its citizenry.
