It's definitely easier than my other classes. The amount of work varies on which assignment is that week. The shorter one takes ~1-2 hours, while the final presentation may take more. I would say about 1-3 hours a week, depending on your work rate.

I took it last quarter. The midterm and final are very easy, just make sure you pay attention to his review sessions.

The homework assignments and projects are a lot of writing, but are not too difficult. You will have two speaking assignments.

Grading, according to him, is curved to be 1/3 of the class getting A, 1/3 B and 1/3 C.

He checks for attendance every class, and participation is a small factor of your grade.

It should be. For some classes, it may be only the first day, but the ones I have participated in were the entire first week (if the class meets more than once a week).

One of best friends confronted me a few weeks before prom, and after a length conversation, we decided to try to start a relationship. We promised that we would talk if there are any issues to not hurt our friendship. So after two dates and a great night at Prom, I go back to school and she completely avoids me for an entire day. I accidentally bumped into her in the library, and she says "We have to break up", and immediately walks away. She never spoke to me again.

It wasn't really a ridiculous breakup, but the turn of events was quite confusing for me.
