I believe the LAPD riot squad is on route to get Dustin Brown out of there.

Cashiers of Reddit, what is something that customers do, while you are ringing them up or checking them out, that pisses you off? by carbon107in AskReddit

I know it's going to be a good shift when someone tries to barter for twenty minutes on an item that has a fixed price and is less than ten dollars.

For some reason the most mindblowing one was comparing Sydney to Toyko because out of all the suburbs to highlight apparently fucking Cranebrook was one of them, for reasons I have yet to comprehend.

What's the funniest thing you've got in trouble with the police for? by Tomhanksisademonin AskReddit

[–]A-punk 229 points230 points ago

Some friends and I got caught drinking alcohol on a train. We got taken off and sat down by the cops, who let us go when they realized that when they left the train and waved it off, one of their partners was still inside. I've never seen two cops laugh so much in my entire life.

TIL there is an ancient temple in Ireland that predates Giza and Stonehenge. During the winter solstice, light penetrates through to the burial tomb for about 19 minutes. by ruperthackedmyphonein todayilearned

Clearly this was a place for vampires to go and die ironically on the shortest sunlight day of the year.

That's because every ballot paper with the word 'faggot' or 'dickhead' sprawled across it counted as a vote for Opitz.

I tend to film everything so I can learn from my past mistakes for the next one.

So far my biggest problem is finding a better hiding spot for the camera.

Emergency law considered in Quebec as thousands of students protest tuition; 122 arrests by pool92in worldnews

I had a friend from Ontario propose that they send the army in to physically oppress the Quebecois.

This may have been before the protests though.

When I was a kid, I would ALWAYS spread the peanut butter before the jam because I thought the peanut butter jar didn't deserve to be contaminated. I still make my PB&Js this way. What quirky things from your childhood still hold on? by KixStarin AskReddit

[–]A-punk 11 points12 points ago

I would always snap my fingers 3 times when I was forced to have things I would hate as a child for some reason. It was calming I guess.

Whenever I have certain things I hated as a child, I still do it though. Things like broccoli and anal sex are the main ones I would say.

When I was a kid, I witnessed a woman burn herself to death. What is the most shocking/terrifying/traumatic thing you experienced? by laksaloverin AskReddit

[–]A-punk 594 points595 points ago

I used to have a slight indentation in the side of my head. According to my Dad who I overheard talking to his friends it was from the tremendous force of his penis while I was in Utero.

I realize this is impossible but it's not great imagery as a kid. Also I think my Dad may be an idiot.

Have you ever really liked a song by someone and then found out later that a LOT of the song was pre-built in a sample pack? by GuyFawkesTrotin WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]A-punk 4 points5 points ago

I used to work in radio and just before I left the station we got a new contract with a 'sample company'. We'd basically use their music for commercials and promotions and stuff like that.

Some of the stuff they had on there was honestly, really fucking amazing. As in better than most of the stuff I was actually playing on air (which realistically probably wasn't to hard but still). The metal section was unbelievable and the RnB was second to none. I later found out Snoop Dog was one of there major collaborators and they had a whole bunch of other studio artists working for them so it kind of makes sense.

They were very clear though that using there service without paying was not a good idea to put it lightly, so your friend might be in a bit of trouble if they find out he ripped them off.

The start of something big. by lilstumpzin Music

[–]A-punk 122 points123 points ago

On the one hand the Rolling Stones have 20 years of success and 40 years of recording to become one of the most well known bands in music history, but Long John Baldry became the voice of Dr. Robotnik in Sonic the Hedgehog.

I'm struggling to find who the real winner is here.
