TROPHY CASE

Time is almost up for the 2012 election. It may sound extreme, but maybe /Libertarian should be rallying around the guy who will be on the ballot in all 50 states with a (L) next to his name. by 34679in Libertarian

The number one bullet point on his website in the foreign policy section is "Bring the Troops Home. "

Fair enough. I get a bit more excited than most and end up wondering why nobody else seems to care. I guess that's just the state of things.

Is there someone on the ballot in your state who has a better stance? What about other issues? NDAA? What do you think a Romney-Obama debate is going to talk about?

The most important thing to keep in mind right now is the fact that the election is less than six months away. We're about to shift into debate season. Debates between presidential candidates, not nominees. Sure your vote matters, but we really need people to know about a real third option. How can we have a country where over 60% of the people are against things like marijuana prohibition, aggressive wars, NDAA, and internet sensorship and yet no one demands a candidate for president who will even mention any of those topics in a debate?!

Does anyone actually believe or even want Romney to call Obama out on NDAA? I think it's pretty safe to say the man who signed the bill won't be bringing it up in the debates.

One guy will. He'll bring up the very things we both cheered Ron Paul for bringing up. But we need him at 15%, and that's going to take more than just your vote. We all need to be vocal. We don't have much time.

You're so right! All this time I've been trying to slit my wrists with a dull knife when I could've been using a sharp one!

Gary Johnson will be on the ballot in all 50 states. Check him out if you're against NDAA, the drug war, aggressive foreign wars, and gay marraige bans.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier. For future reference if you didn't already work it out, you can hold shift then click and drag to move your camera angle until you find the sun.

If you have the current version, there is a series of buttons to click along the top of the map display. They're not inside any drop down menus or anything, just look for the button that looks like the sun. It's right next to the one that looks like Saturn. It won't work in street view.

Google Earth (desktop) is what I used. You can zoom to ground level with 3D terrain and use the sun slider to move the sun to it's exact position in the sky for any given date and time. It even shows the shadows cast by terrain.

I was briefly detained by these guys outside the RNC in '08, after getting a nice whiff of their tear gas, so these things can and do happen.

I would like that. I'm always tinkering and fixing things.

For right now, I need to find a place that can fix or duplicate a top cover for a Roland XC-540 Mine has a dent in the top cover from a 2x4 falling on it. If anyone knows of a local metal fabrication shop I'd love a suggestion.

/r/GaryJohnson, this is a critical time. Paul's campaign is dwindling down, and his supporters are looking for a direction to go this fall. You need to help welcome them here. by OHhokie1in GaryJohnson

I'm not quitting. I'm re-allocating my resources toward getting the message I want on the debate stage. Despite how well the delegate strategy has or hasn't worked, the campaign says it will not have the delegates needed to win the nomination. For me, this is the definition of defeat. It's not the message I wanted to hear, but it's the reality of the situation. It's time we accept it so we can properly assess the situation, and determine the best path forward. I've determined that path, for me, is Gary Johnson.
