DAE: Save the biggest bud in their stash for last?

I save the biggest one because its like I'm tricking myself about how much weed I have. Say I pick up a 1/4.. first thing is to load any shake into the one hitter and finish it off. Then I start with the smallest buds and work my way up so that, at least at first, it appears as though I'm going through the weed slowly. Once you start tearing into that big-daddy the sack starts to look thin and sad.

This method caused me horrible pain once. I had picked up a half O or an O, and it came with this one awesome looking bud. It looked exactly like a chicken nugget, and was incredibly dense. I hence named it 'chicken nug'.

It was my last bud left, when my mom went ape-shit on my brother for smoking, and the chicken nug was caught in the crossfire, and flushed down the toilet.

RIP Chicken Nug.

I see it as a conservation technique. See, the bigger the bud the longer it will take to dry out, since it is exposed to less air. So it makes sense to save those for last.

i do this every time, subconsciously. i see it as giving the bud its due respect for being bigger than its peers.

I'm going to go against my fellow ents as I use the master bud first. My reasoning is that when getting a new batch, excitement is at its peak, and within that new batch there will never be as good of a feeling as using the best and knowing you still have a shitload more trees. However, when all I have left is the master bud, I either go into conservation mode or I'm thinking "crap, only four bowls left, then I got to get more". This distracts from the glory of the master bud and doesn't allow it the respect it deserves.

i like to get really drunk at least once a month. This usually coincides pretty well with my monthly stash refill of 1/4 or 1/2z.

On that day I get really really drunk, and I hide some of the weed from myself. A bud here, bud there .. always stored in a tight bag so it doesn't dry out.

The days I do spring cleaning I usually end up becoming really happy after finding a previously stashed bud. Or when my girl is over and wants to smoke, i send her on a search and rescue mission. When she finds it she gets to smoke it

This also helps my tolerance believe it or not. I know i have weed somewhere and because I'm not always 100% sure where, it lasts longer. Otherwise, If it were in front of me, it would become vaped in short order

TL;DR... I dont save the biggest bud for last, I get drunk and hide a nice bud from myself for future happiness creation.

I have a stealth thing going over here, so it's just a quick grab down the bag, get a suitable sized nug, hide the bag and roll the joint, hide the joint in my pocket, and head outside or to a friend when everyone is reporting ready :)

Never ever smoke the keif nug first. Save it for as long as possible, also, if you break it up before you are ready to smoke all of the part that you don't smoke will lose a lot of the keif that has built up on it.

first thing i do is go in and remove all seeds and stems, then break all the weed up and put it into a new baggie (old baggie filled with seeds and stems)

then i take a pinch or two and add it to a third baggie that has all sorts of weed from the past few months stored in it. then 2-3 times a year i'll break out the Frankenstein bag and get incredistoned

I usually save it for last, but I always work my way from the bottom of a big bud up to the top because I think the top is always the best part of the bud. You gotta save the best for last.

Well I like to pick the headdie of my biggest nug of every sack I get till I have a nice collection of a bunch of different kinds of bud then smoke them together on a special occasion or make really nice mix bowls once in a while.

I do this, but I do it with everything. I don't eat the crunchberries until the last few bites, nor the marshmallows in my lucky charms.

I also pick my bowls from the bottom of the buds up, with the frosty tips being the last to be smoked!

I like to split my sack up more than one way. My nicest, most dense bud goes in a different jar for last consumption and my biggest is the last of the rest that I smoke.

I always take one of the largest buds out when I first buy a new bag and hide it for myself for later. This has saved me so many times when I thought I was totally out and despaired for not having any weed on X occasion.

once i saved the best, nicest, juiciest bud till last - i was going to save it for a massive one on the way home.... well, i got busted and had to ditch it :( Knowing that lovely little bud is blowing around out there still kinda stings, so since then i take the very best, nicest bits and put them in the very first and most special spliff... by the time im on my last it's sticks and dust.

I always save either the biggest bud for last, or the one that looks the coolest. And when I grind that nug up I'm very particular about it. I'm not sure why I do it though, just one of those things I guess.

I used to but then I realized that if something happened to my bag I'd be pissed that I smoked the crappy stuff first. Plus I figure the longer a bud stays in the bag the drier it gets, so I always smoke the good stuff first.

Usually, yeah. But lately when I get a new batch, all of the nugs have been roughly the same size. But if one is noticeably bigger than the rest of them, then I always save it.

If I get less than a 1/2 or so I just end up grinding it all up. My grinder holds a good bit more than an 1/8th.

I save the biggest one as well, not only that but I smoke my bud from the bottom of the bud to the top, technically it should only matter if it was a kola(more THC at the top than bottom) but since these are already manicured buds I doubt it makes much of a difference.

I always see it the other way around - start with the best and you'll be all good.

Ya I'll usually save the biggest, or use it to roll a fat joint first and hide it for safe keeping. "High me" always surprises me when I'm dry.

I usually grind up all my weed as soon as I get it, then store it in a cardboard box. Leave it over night and is dry as a crisp the next day.

But before I got into this routine I used to do exactly what you said.
