pretty sure nobody's gonna read this, but I've had a bad impression with desrow long time ago. He once asked me for practice games, and I said sure, why not. He proceeded to 2gate proxy inside my base. I wasn't sure what to think, but I decided to not "practice" with him anymore

He is universally hated by DotA players. This is one of the reasons, I'm sure, that he switched to SC2 in an attempt to redefine his persona and become "e-famous." Naturally, it didn't take long for him to show his true personality (bad mannered, unintelligent, no self-respect, and otherwise bad) and subsequently lose all of the fans he gained while he pretended to be a decent person and a decent player.

DotA players have been warning people about his retardation on TL and other forums but instead of listening, everybody just assumed that people were trashing him for no reason and discounted all of the verifiable douchebaggery that he is known for.

He even called me a dumbass at some point among other things, and in general was very rude when I was only asking him for information about the showmatch so that I could pass it on to Revival. He never understood that Revival doesn't know who he is and that simply demanding his Skype wouldn't get him anywhere.

Played him once on ladder on eu, I scout his proxy on shattered in between the bases(the most obvious spot for a proxy), he then started to call me a map hacker, I prepared well enough to defend and he then dropped and started spamming me calling me a drophacker.

I guess I can just put my opinion on here also. I've known Desrow since Warcraft III and I hated the guy. A couple of weeks before he went to Korean I decided to watch his stream and be nice to him.. To my surprise, I thought he played pretty decent beating some ok players on ladder. I continued to watch and that's when I learned how big of a dick he is.. I mean the guy is the biggest asshole ever. He bans people for trying to give him "Advice" on his stream, then he plays a commercial.. These are people who for some stupid reason is trying to help your ass get better, yet you ban them for helping you? Just because you think your better then them.. Your obviously doing something wrong if your losing over and over...

I don't like DesRow's coaching. Months ago when he used to stream his Coaching he would continue to get frustrated and bm on stream when the student would do things a lower level league would do, like say keeping up with making probes or larva injects. He would talk down the students. I told myself I would never pay money to this guy so he could "yell" at me on stream in front of everyone like that. I don't deserve that treatment.

The second thing that made me not want to support this guy. Used to do this on stream a lot. Is that he used to play other peoples accounts for money for the sole purpose of getting accounts into a higher league. Which is typically called power leveling. Its sad to me to see this "pro" player endorse this type of activity when he claims to be a "coach". In coaching he tells students to "practice", yet soon as hes done teaching he hops on to one of the power-leveling accounts to "work". If you read the ToS with starcraft it does not condone this behavior.

Also he seems like a self absorbed money hunger bitch.

For everyone who is commentating, you don't have to "read" this thread, it got to the top by being a very good thread. I started tuning into his thread around August, thinking he was a good guy I started some coaching sessions with him. He would scream at me to do things his way, never appealing to my style of play. Than when I stopped contacting him, he messaged me around 3 times asking me when I wanted to do more coaching, when I said that I just didn't want anymore but would definitively get some in the future after I decided if I wanted to continue using his style of play. He instant started bm'ing me and removed me from skype and banned me. Great guy for the community.... right, all I've seen is DRAMA follow this guy everywhere, he hypes himself up 100 times a day, and when something doesn't go his way he cries. Sorry I've given him a chance as has Knowone572 and we ALL feel this way, if you support him than this is not your thread. It's #2 ranked on reddit and most people agree with it, sorry but I'm glad someone finally has the balls to speak out, the community needs to be cleansed for pro's that actually care about their fans and not just themselves(whitera)

I didn't mind him at first. I enjoyed watching his stream. But after losing to TLO many, many months ago, I made a comment in his stream chat that was something along the lines of "hmm, shouldn't have done such and such I think." Subsequently, he chose to 10 minute rage ban me. Sure, I'm no pro, but I wasn't even really addressing him. I was chatting with the other observers. I just thought, well, whatever, if you don't want my pennies for watching your commercials, fine. Lost all respect, shut his stream off and haven't thought about him until now.

tldr; put down the pitchforks, you don't have to watch his stream, there are many others, i enjoy a fine peach cobbler

I used to watch his stream and mod his channel a while back before he went to Korea, and I have to say I agree with most of this. Also what he teaches people he coaches is common knowledge that can be gotten by any mid master level player who pays attention to pro games.

If you know desrow from other games such as WC3 and Dota you would know hes known for being a complete asshole and honestly for not be good at any games. In all those games he wanted more than anything to be considered at the top or to even be relevant despite being anything but. Hes still a complete dick in SC2 but for some reason he actually has "fans" despite not even being close to the top.

Hes just your everyday ladder warrior when it comes down to it. BM, slightly better than average, and cocky for no reason. He should really be put into the group of deezer, combatex, and desrow personality wise.
