So I start tomorrow (Labor Day? wtf mate) and was wondering a few things about RIT to get me started. Longtime Reddit lurker BTW, first post, sorry if I mess this up.
I'm commuting, is there a "good" parking lot? Which usually fill?
Books: Rent? Buy used online? Trust B&N? Skip them? Borrow?
Adjusting to quarter system: Am I fucked coming from semesters?
Co-op advice? Bigger company? Out of town? How to get started?
Is there any groups that gravitate toward entrepreneurship?
When do you get any financial aid refund?
Any wonderful campus resources worth leveraging?
Good experience with any campus clubs/groups/organizations?
Is there a "good" place to eat on campus? "Good" bathrooms?
Any bar night specials at that Lovin' Cup joint?
Basically I'm looking for some foundational info, since I'm jumping from a small community college (Not MCC, had a 3.98 GPA) to a huge private university. I appreciate any help anyone can offer. I'm a Business major and am really looking forward to some collaboration with some of you insanely talented engineers. tygg.
