Stats:

My real name is Ne…Tim. I just turned 28 about a month ago and I live in Chicago.
I was an English Major in college, so if anyone knows of a real job let me know.
Relationship Status? Single and finally happy with it. Loving the three Fs: Freedom, Fightless and Three Floyds".
I don’t have any pets or children (thank god!). Though the former is due to more so from situation than choice (I love dogs!). I love baseball despite the fact my team has let us down for more than a century.

My favorites:

• Beer - Three Floyds Gumball Head/Pride and Joy. Half Acre Daisy Cutter Pale Ale, Dog Fish Head 60 min IPA, etc I also love coffee/tea… caffeine is a hell of a drug.

• Musical interests are mainly Punk or Punk type stuff: Operation Ivy, Propagandhi, At The Drive In, Circa Surivive, Deftones, The Descendents, Less Than Jake, The Hippos, Saosin and very little Rancid and Joy Division. Some tracks by Circle Jerks, Minor Threay,Gorilla Biscuits, Adam and The Ants. I suppose that's enough punk.
  Other than that, I like Foo Fighters Colour and The Shape. Used to be really into 311. Pretty big fan of 3rd Eye Blind but it's been awhile since I let myself listen to them. Californication by RHCP. I like some poppier stuff - Jem, some Feist and Cartel. Love Toad The Wet Sprocket and I'm not ashamed to admit I have some Hall and Oates on my iPod.
  Not very heavy into Hip Hop but I do enjoy it - mainly Immortal Technique and Tribe Called Quest.
  Also into some older stuff - Carpenters and It Never Rains in Southern California. Gotta love CCR's Fortunate Son and I Put A Spell on You. And ya can't go with out throwing out some love for John Denver. Lastly, Giant Steps by Coltrane.
  Other than some loose ends: this year I've been listening to Two Weeks by Grizzly Bear."

• Books: Dharma Bums and On The Road by Kerouac, Jesus’ Son, Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove, Blood Sucking Fiends, You Suck, Practical Demon Keeping, Fluke…

• TV: Dexter, Simpsons (older ones of course), Futurama, King of The Hill, Daily Show, Colbert Report, Tosh.0

• Games: C & C: Red Alert, Portals/ HL, Scrabble, Castle Risk

Whats important to you:

Trying to be a good person as much as possible, yet sometimes Mr. Hyde pokes through. Making people laugh and being silly/offbeat, sometimes inappropriately so… Definitely music, music is very important to me.

Regarding reddit:

• I’ve been on reddit for about two and a half years. My last username was a Kerouac nod. And ConentWithOurDecay comes from a song by Operation Ivy.
  

• I’ve created the following reddits: /r/dexter, /r/creepy, /r/cubs. /r/wtf is usually a pretty good reddit IMO. I like /r/dexter obviously (props to pdongen for the custom job). /r/Chicago is one of my favorites since I can get out and meet other redditors around me. /r/sports and /r/baseball I enjoy for the comments though the submission are sometimes below par. Other than that some notable ones: /r/homebrewing, /r/fitness and /r/webgames.

• I think reddit is pretty much the same place it was when I started about 2.5 years ago. Though, I have noticed a large amount of pack mentality a lot lately. It’s rather sad to see a normally bright community rally together around ignorant preconceived notions in order to reaffirm their beliefs. Though, I guess that’s human nature (Hmm maybe that username is more than a song reference : p). I’ve had a pretty good experience over all. A+++ Would sign up for Reddit Again.
