I read this as Radiohead's Electric Slide.

You might like of Aphex Twin's material, for example IZ-US or Alberto Balsalm. Or maybe something from Boards of Canada, like Roygbiv or Left Side Drive.

If you like any of those tracks, I'd highly recommend exploring the Warp Records catalog sometime.

Burial and Four Tet

The Amazing Sounds of Orgy, Backdrifts, The Gloaming, Where Blue Birds Fly

edit: I am thinking you will find most tracks like this amongst Amnesiac, The Pyramid Song single, I Might Be Wrong live recordings, Hail to the Thief and the Com Lag EP. You'll find all that on this Radiohead discography playlist I put together on Grooveshark. It's got almost everything http://grooveshark.com/#!/playlist/Radiohead+Discography/66353444

Very nice collection :)

Oh yeah definitely but I was wondering outside Radiohead as well. Thanks though :) I love your playlist man :D

Cosmogramma by Flying Lotus is somewhat similar. Thom's whole solo collection is mostly electronic. this guy makes very radioheadesk music and even sounds like Thom.

Flying Lotus and Four Tet. Definitely some cross inspiration going on.

Check out Flim by Aphex Twin if you're looking for something similar. There's not much out there like Worrywort :)

BUT WHERE'S THE DROP?!

[–]Anxietgeist 2 points3 points ago

that's my absolute favorite electronic song. worrywort being a close second.

Flying Lotus and Modeselektor are both good options.

Flying Lotus' Cosmogramma was awesome on first listen. 100 plays later, it keeps getting better and better. Amazingly talented artist with an ear for true art music right there.

Oddly enough, I didn't like it upon first listen. I had heard remix of Reckoner he did and I expected an album of that, but that was my first and last mistake. This album is so much better than that remix, but it took me a few listens to really "get it." Great headphones increase the awesomeness exponentially.

A little more organic but maybe some Bonobo also?

Ha! What no Gantz Graf or Parhelic Triangle for you? The latter I must say makes for a great soundtrack to the Begotten.

Haha, I wrote that comment without realising my girlfriend had left herself signed in. My favourite Autechre tune is Drane, fucking incredible. And recorded in 1995. It sounds like it was recorded next year.

Favourite off Confield is Pen Expers though ;)

Agreed, the Peel Sessions in general are pretty amazing. Funny how certain electronica from the mid-ish 90's still sounds way ahead of its time.

>aphex twins

You should check out The Flashbulb, Autechre and Squarepusher if you like RDJ. Orbital is a bit like him and like bluecalx2 said (lol his name is an Aphex Twin song) i cannot recommend Boards of Canada enough.

Four Tet & Aphex Twin for sure.

I really think you'll like "The White Flash" (modeselektor feat. Thom Yorke) if you like these songs. here's a youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-b9hgd-3Tc

Get the album "Future Days" by Can. I remember reading a long time ago about how someone in the band likes Can a lot, and I think that album is their best, but basically anything with their singer at that time is also great. Make sure you get real high and listen to the song "Mother Sky" at full volume, too!
