Me too. A good way to spend a couple of minutes while pretending to do something productive.

Hear Hear! When NIK arrives in my inbox (at 12-ish) I know it's time for lunch!

Im a big fan of random useless facts. With NIK you get an article about a random fact every morning. That is cool!

So many fun facts that I will forget as soon as I go to the front page of reddit. Douchebag brain...

Yeah, NIK is awesome. On more than one occastion I've been able to impress my friends with cool facts, such as the giant mirror in Viganella, Italy.

Also, I just love learning new things :)

Yeah, they are a great quick read, and I like the way Dan writes

Mobile phone + NIK = poopin time.

I like that the circle is now complete - many NIK articles seem to be lifted directly from /new anyway.

Very few come from /new, but a lot of bonus facts come from searches including reddit searches. The Brazil nut bonus fact is a great example of that.

Wow! I'm getting hammered - I meant that in a good way. (And technically, every article passes through /new which I spend a lot of time browsing, so maybe that's why I encounter many of them there...)

Most of them don't :( A lot of them get stuck in spam filters.
