He will end up on the Raptors because everyone wants to play for my Raptors. Everyone.

Its the only team to be named off a dinosaur, so fuck yeah they should.

[–]thisisme5 2 points3 points ago

I'm surprised we never end up on any of the wishlists. People want to play in Toronto right? Right?

To be honest with JV, Bargs, Demar (who can't create) Dwill would be an awesome fit for us... that being said - he goes to NY its over.

It would be amazing if Dwill came to Toronto. Maybe in a couple seasons when we attain a decent record we can pull some good players.

I'm afraid no superstar wants to be on one of the worst teams in the NBA. Sorry bro.

To be fair we haven't had Bargnani for the past 5 games...

Who the fuck am I kidding we're still a lottery team. It's pretty sad when I watch games and feel pity for the players because we don't even have a chance.

Well they are definitely worse than the pistons and the Hornets. The pistons have beat the Pacers, Magic, and Portland...and the Hornets have beat the Suns, Celtics, and Nuggets who are all better teams than the best team the Raptors have beat who are the Knicks. Washington beat oklahoma city... but they are still probably the worst. So unfortunately I'd say the worst team is the wizards, then Bobcats, then Toronto. :[

Right now we are, but we're talking about next year. Look how the Wolves look with their 2 drafts, we're going to be them next year - but with a better core (Derozan, Ed Davis, Amir, Bargs, Bayless, JJ) then what the Wolves had last year.

[–]thisisme5 1 point2 points ago

We beat the Knicks but they didn't have Amare not to mention the Knicks have had a rough season anyways. Either way as long as we have Bargnani we can maybe hit top lottery status (ie not being in the bottom 5) but that's about it. As far as I'm concerned we might as well suck for a bit; stack the lottery picks.

[–]SuminderJi 1 point2 points ago

Fuck that.

Put it this way, we havn't had out best player for 6 games. We have no other "star" and even Bargs barely qualifies though hes doing well this year.

Next year we got JV coming who is regarded as a top tier talent, regardless of nationality.

Lottery we're looking at top 5 this year which might net us a star.

If I was DWill I'd reach and come up with a up and coming team...

Dallas or LA.

[–]bottombitchdetroit 2 points3 points ago

If he leaves NJ, the only "big" destination with the money to sign him will be Dallas. There may be two big free agents next year, Howard and Williams, and Dallas will probably have their pick of either one.

If Dallas chooses Howard, Williams will end up at a small market team, maybe Indiana or Denver, though I have no idea what their cap situations are. Perhaps Philly as well.

Indy could be really dangerous with DW.

[–]SachemAlpha 3 points4 points ago

We do not speak of this issue.

D A L L A S

[–]kungfuowl 0 points1 point ago

Well he's not coming back to Utah, so that leaves 29 teams.

[–]Pendit76 0 points1 point ago

I just have this feeling it will be him and Howard in LA. Otherwise he will go to the Mavs.

[–]shay626 1 point2 points ago

LA doesn't have cap space.

[–]Pendit76 0 points1 point ago

Trade Gasol for picks and a trade exception.

[–]shay626 1 point2 points ago

So that gives them $9mil in cap space... the other $20-30 million will come from where?

[–]Pendit76 1 point2 points ago

I don't know. I'd guess they'd have to amnesty Artest.

[–]shay626 1 point2 points ago

and trade Bynum

[–]LakersMontaron87 1 point2 points ago

Like I said in the similar topic about Dwight Howard, I hope he comes to the Lakers, but knowing Cuban it will be Dallas.

[–]thatsong -1 points0 points ago

The Magic should try to get him, and that'll help keep Howard in Orlando.

Here's the trade I'd make, though it'd be unlikely to happen:

To Orlando:

Deron Williams

To NJ:

Jameer Nelson

JJ Redick

Chris Duhon

1st round pick

Trade Machine

If I were Orlando, I'd be hesitant to move Ryan Anderson, but I imagine if I were asking for Williams and not giving up Howard, you may have to fork him over.

Though as a homer, Raps would be awesome, no matter how unlikely.
