I did one for my brother when he was at St Pauls. - Couple of bits of tupperware with food that doesn't easily spoil/can be eaten cold - and a jar of jam. - Extra clothes; thermals, jumpers, gloves etc - Bin bags and plastic bags - Wind up torch - Spare phone and charger - Tissues, wet wipes and basic first aid stuff- plasters, paracetamol etc - Packet of fags and a lighter

Would definitely recommend asking them though. Or tweet someone there, Occupy LSX has a twitter account.

There's a Starbucks on the corner - that will sort them out for hot drinks. Itsu across the road has lots of sushi and also nice hot soups for these cold days.

Practically, a Starbucks card loaded with some cash would be the best thing for him.
