A question to pro-censorship people (or any anti censorship people who may have an answer) (self.india)

For the censorship thats being done in the name of religion, assuming that gods exist and the images/whatever are offensive, what prevents them from wiping out the content, or killing (yamraj style) the creator of the content?

Shouldnt Salman Rushdie be dead by now if the gods really were offended by his books for example

Or the guy who painted naked paintings of some goddesses?

Wont the gods take care of that stuff if they were offended?
