Just found out I'm doing the pyro for the Winter Classic! (self.hockey)

I've been doing pyro for the last six years and have worked the All Star Game at Yankee Stadium along with their home opener in their new stadium, amazing experiences along with working Eagles and Phillies games though the commute from NYC is a pain in the ass but sports are my life. My boss called me and said we sold the NHL on the contract for the Winter Classic! I'm a die hard Rangers fan and couldn't be happier than to work this game, hell even if the Rangers weren't playing, the Classic has been nothing short of amazing. I'll be sure to take a ton of pictures from wherever I am at. So when you're enjoying the game, take a gander at the pyro.

As someone who's going to be there could I make a suggestion? As soon as you start thinking: "Alright that should do it, that's probably enough fireworks." No. It isn't. Use more. A lot more. Maybe double, if you can.

congrats! i am instructing and playing in the drum line that will be playing for the alumni game intro. and we get to stick around and watch the alumni game after. i will try and take pictures too!

Today's game was great fun. We were so close to the Ranger's dugout I could feel the heat from the flames every time they were introduced. Such a great day for hockey, the club, and the city. Go Flyers.

We call them "Firefly's". Glad you felt the heat. It was fairly annoying that with every hit someone was yelling "fire in the hole" as if I have never heard that one before.

Is there any possible way of doing a shout our for /r/hockey? For example, getting your team to wear the Reddit Jerseys or finding out if the camera guys will let you hold up a Reddit sign behind Pierre McGuire? If not just staying awesome and being there is good enough =).
