Don't think so because Barty Crouch Jr. probably thought that Snape had turned on Voldemort anyways.

But doesnt the Foe-Glass only show TRUE foe's not percieved foe's?

Considering what I know about the Foe-Glass, I think I may have to agree with you.

But it depends on how true is defined. If a true foe is defined by intent to harm, then Snape could still be on the fence. If he were evil, then in order to keep his cover with Dumbledore he'd sacrifice Crouch because he didn't know what Crouch had done at that point (which was resurrect Voldemort). At that point, he's just a random Death Eater.

Don't think it works like that, might be more like a security camera that just shows what people are going towards the place the foe glass is at, that's my theory ...

I thought the Foe-Glass showed people who are nearing the place where it is kept. Since in HBP, when Dumbledore and Harry are going to Slughorns house, Sloghorn mentioned that he saw them coming through his Foe-Glass.

I just reread the bit where Harry and Dumbledore meet Horace and there is nothing about him having seen them in the Foe-glass. He was in the tub and didn't notice his intruder alarm.

I did the same when idozp mentioned it. I somehow must have imagined it, and it would be weird I did, seeing as I'm doing a re-read and I'm reading that very book and up to Chapter 9.

He does however mention using a Freezing Charm on the burglar system muggles use instead of Sneako-scopes, which I may have misconcluded.

Slughorn didn't use a Foe-Glass. He had an Intruder Charm set up

hmm, if just shows anyone who is coming near it then why is it called Foe-Glass? I am much confused. Oh well, I guess my exciting moment was really just all in my head. :(

Well to be fair anyone coming to your house unannounced can technically be considered a foe...

I think that a foe-glass would normally just pick up on the person and who they are suspisious of or don't like but can also pick up on if someone is out to get you even if you don't realize.

I think Snape would be Barty Crouch Jr.'s foe no matter how you look at it. If Barty Crouch Jr. thought Snape was on "the good side" he'd be his enemy, which he really was. But if Snape was a fellow death eater, he'd still be competing with Barty Crouch Jr. to be the most notable and best death eater, so he'd still be a foe. Just my thoughts.

Also, Barty Jr. hated all the free Death Eaters that didn't continue to show their love for Voldemort after he disappeared. Snape was free, and had denounced Voldemort in the public eye, becoming Dumbledores lap dog.
