I respectfully disagree.

While /r/Minecraft may have a sizeable userbase, quite a few of them (ie the commenters that everyone see) spend their days circlejerking, begging for updates, and talking shit about each other. This, of course, is not counting the fact that /r/Minecraft has a much younger userbase than most subreddits, simply because Minecraft is such a child-friendly game.

It must be said, however, that /r/Minecraft does have a reputation for an infantile community (though it does have some awesome people like jackfirecracker, Coestar, and the organizers of the Race for the Wool tournament).

Of course! I try not to pick subreddits on size alone, I want it to be representative of reddit at large, which means smaller subreddits are included over some bigger ones. Also a big factor is whether I have a good idea how to draw it :]

Plus, if you check the signs on the 'smaller subreddits' panel of the comic, you'll see a sign pointing to /r/animation :]
