Get rid of the wrinkles so I can look at the beautiful illustration. What's with you young designers?

Haha I get it, but the text is essential. At least name and number. Without eliminating it, any ideas on improving it?

Well, Century Gothic was designed in 1991. Clarendon would be more temporal. If that doesn't matter to you, I would suggest toying with Futura or Rockwell, and at the very least a thicker weight of Century Gothic.

The 23 is huge, Benjamin Harrison is small, and the quote is illegible. I would personally get rid of the quote, and put the number and his name into a visual hierarchy.

I'd use something by ATF (well, Morris Full Benton). A large number of the faces he made around the time of Benjamin Harrison's death (1900-1910). Franklin Gothic and New Gothic are good choices. Try a Cheltenham for a good serif.

I agree, ditch the quote. It just creates visual clutter.
