Umbra. Latin for 'shadow'. The moon is in umbra when it is in the full shadow of the earth during the eclipse. Although 'Necklace" is a pretty great suggestion.

Pearl was used for the moon. The sun was represented by a Ruby.

How about 'Orla'?

It's (Irish) Gaelic and means 'Golden'. I think it rolls off the tongue quite well following 'Pearl'. If your surname is a long name or begins with a 'G' it would sound particularly good.
