I never used to be a big reader, but after watching the first 2 Harry Potter movies I decided to try read the books. All through high school I couldn't bring myself to reading a single novel, so it surprised me to get through these. The only thing I read during High School with any enthusiasm was "A Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" (besides lots and lots of comic books). Since HP I had not read much until about a year ago when I discovered I enjoyed reading allot more when it was on my phone or tablet. Since then I have read Patric Rothfuss "The Kingkiller Chronicle Day 1&2", Suzanne Collins "Hunger Games" (which I devoured all 3 books in 2 weeks) while taking a break from reading George R. R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire". I am 75% through book 5, dreading the end knowing there are 2 books still to come but are not out yet.

I really really liked "A Song of Ice and Fire" and am looking for something along these lines, the main 2 criteria being Fantasy and a long series. I have friends who have suggested books, but they all like different things, so I thought I would try here :)
