I change my mind periodically on this, but right now, my favorite "frontman" is actually a woman, Maria "Masha Scream" Arhipova from the Russian pagan metal band Arkona. They were opening for Korpiklaani (the band I came to see), and they just blew everyone away. She's a tiny person, but sings like a demon goddess.

Ian Anderson is a solid choice, though. They just announced that "Thick as a Brick 2" is coming out, and they'll be touring doing both in their entirety. I may have to save up the undoubtedly crazy cash it'll cost for a ticket.
