Best credit union in the area? (self.Marietta)

Currently leaning towards Georgia's Own, but would love to hear other ideas. The most important things I'm looking for are that the deposits/withdraws show up instantaneously and the ability to easily check my balance from my Android. So, what are you all recommending?

I came here to recommend LGE as well. Their high rate checking account pays 3.5% interest as long as you're ok with doing everything online (bill pay, statements, etc.). Pretty sweet deal.

Unfortunately that rate has dropped to 1.5% in the last year. However is still FAR better than what you'll find at ANY big commercial bank.

I have been with them for almost 3 years. So far fairly happy. They are not my main bank but with what I have with them it has been good. Just never try to call them. They never answer.

I've heard that about them; their bank hours also don't seem to work well unless I take a trip after work to do my banking. If they have phenomenal service and can actually keep my transactions up to date, I think it'll be a good trade off.
