Why is it always when there's a video about some gadget being released at a trade show, it has a guy who's never used the device tapping on everything imaginable but showing nothing at all?

Here we have a guy reading some document, then holding the home button for 3+ seconds, then he had to accept some error message or installation menu, then wait... and wait... then he got bored and decided to type something with his stylus! Who uses a stylus anymore other than to write stuff?
