not nearly as cool as I originally thought they were. I figured the stand was just designed to look like the power cord which actually turned into a power cord somewhere on the ground. I am disappoint.

This is catastrophically bad design: you can trip over the power cord, and there's nothing preventing the lamp from moving in the breeze (for any place with forced-air heating and/or cooling). New ghost lamp produces light AND nausea!

Well, that's dumb as hell. An opportunity to make the lamp "float" mysteriously on a solid wire base disguised as the power cable, missed completely. Instead, it looks like a '30s sci fi movie flying saucer with a big retarded cord hanging out of it. Who the fuck thought they were being clever by making this lamp inefficient and hazardous? "Enlights my life?" Everything about this product can suck a bag of dicks.
